He works as Digital Strategy Director at imc strategy lab, a strategic consultancy that helps companies 'join the conversation' through the power of community, media dialogue and partnership. In his leadership role at imc, Hecht leverages 15 years of experience in branding, online media, advertising, marketing and technology to lead the advisory's strategic conversational marketing practice. He provides imc’s clients with thought leadership on how they can join online and offline conversations, effectively influence key influencers, engage consumers in meaningful dialogue and tap into the power of new marketing approaches that offer bold alternatives to work alongside traditional advertising, via emerging platforms such as digital video, mobile, social media, gaming and virtual worlds.

Serving on the advisory boards of startups, Hecht authors niche marketing blog, Media 2.0, a Duct Tape Marketing small business marketing resource recognized by Marketing Sherpa and Saatchi & Saatchi’s Lovemarks branding study and is a graduate of Columbia University’s School for International and Public Affairs while serving as a current Adjunct Marketing Professor with the City University of New York’s (CUNY) Baruch College Marketing Certificate Program.

Former Bozell Sawyer Miller Corporate Group Associate, Hecht has consluted startups and large corporations on building larger online brand voices including Unilever, J. Walter Thompson, Winstar, Volt Services Group, Cendant, Pfizer, Merck, Cumulus Media, AT&T/BellSouth, ProcureStaff.com, E*TRADE Financial/Mobile and has served on the advisory board of socially responsible nonprofit, Minds Matter, Inc.
